Comrade Babatunde Ogun, who emerged President during the 2nd Triennial Delegates’ Conference held at Abuja in April 2008, is an employee of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited.

Comrade Babatunde Ogun has served the Association in various capacities including as the Branch Secretary, Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (Port Harcourt Refinery) in 1993 and also the NNPC Group Public Relations Officer/Industrial Relations that same year; Vice Chairman, Mobil Producing Nigeria Branch in 1999.  He was also re-elected in 2001 as Branch Chairman.

He was elected the first National Deputy President of our Association at Abuja in April 2003 and served the Association creditably well under the leadership of Comrade Brown Ogbeifun in various capacities till 2005.
